For this firmware update we also have a bootloader update!

Previously if you failed an update the pedal would erase its code and wouldn’t work until you get a successful update and this could cause problems if you couldn’t get a successful update. This new bootloader will only delete the pedal software once a successful update has happened!

This update also adds communication from the hardware to the computer to improve update reliability preventing update failures!

You wont have to update the bootloader every time, only when there is a specific update for the bootloader but only firmware released after this bootloader update (00.90 onward) will work with the technician, older bootloaders will not work with the latest firmware. 

This is a 3 step process. (firmware updater 1.0 for steps 1-2)

STEP 1- while holding the control toggle connect the power and usb to put in update mode, select the device from the drop down, send the bootloader update firmware file to the pedal "Bootloader_updater_1.0". The pedal leds will turn green and then should automatically jump into the “bootloader update mode”

STEP 2 - Once the bootloader update firmware is installed, with it still plugged in, choose the device from the drop down menu and send the update for the bootloader firmware. This replaces the existing bootloader firmware. "Bootloader_2.1"
